The Rhode Island Football Academy has been developing youth football players since 2003 under a simple philosophy: teach football the right way. That means professional instruction, proper technique, and a structured environment where every athlete — beginner or advanced — receives the same focused attention.
RIFA is a non-contact camp. All instruction is delivered through coached drills with balanced coach-to-camper ratios (8–10 campers per coach), organized by age, position, and ability level so athletes always work with peers at a similar stage of development.
Ages 6–18
Open to all age groups. Instruction is organized so players work with others of similar age, size, and skill level regardless of experience.
Non-Contact Training
All drills are non-contact. Players develop proper technique and football IQ in a safe, structured environment without live tackling.
Position-Specific
Every camper selects a position bundle covering both an offensive and defensive position, receiving daily coaching in both to build a complete skill set.
8–10:1 Coach Ratio
Small groups mean every athlete gets real coaching time, not just observation. Instructors specialize in the positions they teach.
Rapid-Fire Sessions
No wasted time. Sessions are structured and fast-paced — athletes are moving and learning from the moment they arrive at 8:30 AM.
All Weather Ready
In the event of poor weather, camp moves indoors with modified training and film instruction. Extreme heat protocols include mandatory water breaks and activity reductions.
